My fascination with my name came near my 25th birthday when I realised that I only knew of one other person in the world with the same name - my father. Actually, he's a bit of a fake because his real name's Joe, but never mind.
The arrival of the internet and a quick search revealed plenty of Jay Neills around the world and many similar variations.
